Getting to work photograph all of my nieces and nephews to date has been such an honour. Here are some quick photos I was able to snap of my newborn nephew Leo after he got home from a two week stay at the NICU after being born 6 weeks early! Here he is healthy, strong, and growing at home.

Too often, families with adult children forget to prioritize family photos or somehow think they’ve outgrown them! I think that it’s actually much the opposite. (and not just because I’m a photographer :)) Every stage of family life is important and should be captured. Time with loved ones and family members truly is precious - and no matter how old or young you are, it’s always valuable.

I’m from Newfoundland living in Ontario. Kristina is from Halifax, NS and is living in Kelowna, BC & Thomas is from Edmonton living in Kelowna, BC. The two were married in Halifax, Nova Scotia and now plan to move to Mongolia in 2020.

Family photos are always so special. I especially love getting to track with families for years. The MacGregor family is one of those families that I’ve been able to photograph since the kids were just babies.

Here in Canada most people shy away from family photography in the Winter - but I’ll let you in on a secret… I love Winter family photography sessions! This beautiful family wanted to just wander in the woods near their family home in Waterloo mid January (coffee + tea in hand of course) and had such a gorgeous session as a result.

When the Ferguson family reached out to me asking me to photograph their family just one week before their oldest sons wedding I was so excited. I knew that capturing these memories before their family changed forever (in a great way) would be not only special to look back on but also special to capture.

Nothing quite like a fresh snow fall and some winter colours for the perfect family mini session! It’s always a treat being able to capture photographs in my home province of Newfoundland.

Getting to know this beautiful family over the last few years has been a total joy. So glad I now get to call them siblings, and sweet Esther is our first niece! When they approached me about capturing their family before their big move to France I was honoured.
