Get To Know Me

I’m a wife to my absolute best friend and favourite human, and Momma to my sweet daughters. In the Winter most evenings you’ll find me curled up on the couch with a blanket and a hot chocolate binge watching Greys Anatomy and other binge-worthy Netflix shows with my husband. I’m an enneagram seven wing eight through and through if you care about that stuff! Of course, I love love. I’m a total sucker for a good love story. (which is why I ask a lot of questions about yours) I also love people - which is why this job is so dang great!

I want to help you experience connections and emotions all over again when moments have passed so that you can remember how you felt in some of the best moments of life!

I am passionate about people, creativity, love, and stories — it’s honestly one of the best parts of my job being able to share all of that through working with such incredible clients and capturing their memories to last a lifetime!

My Dad & I when I was just 3 years old!

My Why

I have always (literally) loved photography. This old film scan from my childhood shows me taking a “picture” of my Dad bringing my sister home from the hospital. I’m so thankful that my Mom captured this moment on their film camera because it boggles my brain to see that this passion of mine started at such a young age! When I was six my parents got me my first film camera, it was a yellow and green kodak camera and my favourite christmas gift that year. I still have multiple photo albums of the pictures I took documenting my childhood. When I was 17 some friends asked me to take senior grad portraits of them and said they’d pay me. I am forever grateful for that session because it truly is what kick started the thought process that I could take my passion and turn it into a career. I proceeded to shadow some of my favourite photographers and learn from experience - which I am so grateful for, and studied business in University to help me grow my business. In 2016 after 6 years of operating my business in Newfoundland I moved to Ontario not really knowing if I would ever re-launch here. Fast forward about a year later I knew something was missing for me and I began connecting the dots and shooting again. Starting over helped me realize my why and reimagine my business. People matter, stories matter, photos are powerful! It’s such an honor to get to do what I love… I never want to take that privilege for granted.
