Congrats! This is such an exciting time for you. My name is Julie & I’m a Waterloo engagement and wedding photographer and I am personally so excited for you (that might sound cheesy but it’s true!!) Honestly, my husband and I had our engagement photos taken about 8 months before our wedding and we still are so so glad we did because it’s nice to have photos in plain clothes (I loved my wedding dress but it’s not every day life, haha) and also to have fun, sweet, relaxed photos before the wedding actually happened! We look back on those photos often and truly cherish them. We also used them to create a guest book for our wedding which was awesome because we have this incredible photo book and a guest book all in one, such a great keepsake!
