Kristy + Charles - Gorgeous Vintage Wedding
Kristy and Charles met on Tinder after Kristy was drawn to a video of Charles boisterously singing reggae. These two are one of the most fun, free spirited couples I’ve ever met, and working with them was a blast from start to finish.
Right after I met with them for the first time, they sold their home in Cambridge and bought a property they had never seen in person in Nova Scotia! You could just tell from their wedding and from the speeches their friends and family gave that Kristy and Charles both loved adventure and were such a great fit for each other.
Their wedding took place on Kristy’s Dad’s farm - it was an absolutely gorgeous property. Their wedding had a cool, vintage, boho 70’s vibe going on, from Kristy’s beautiful sequin dress and jewelled veil to the decor they chose during the ceremony and reception.
Kristy and Charles’ wedding was a perfect example that even if you choose to have your wedding at a private venue, it can still be very much “you” as well as elegant too. I had a great experience photographing this special day, it was so unique and everyone clear just had so much fun - you can tell from all the smiles and laughter in their wedding pictures!
