Karli + Ryan - Wedding
Karli and Ryan have such a unique love story - they met online through mutual friends and got to know each other long distance before getting the chance to meet in person. After connecting online, they began having hours long conversations about life, faith, and their careers.
Karli works in the country music industry as a musician, and when they met, Ryan was in the USA playing hockey. They both understood the challenges of working in a high-pressure industry, and felt super connected by the parallels of their own stories.
I have actually known Karli for five years, so shooting this wedding was extra special for me. Their ceremony was in Listowell at the church that Karli grew up in, which made for a really personal experience, and their reception was at Revival House in Stratford - an absolutely gorgeous venue.
Instead of the traditional wedding dinner, Ryan and Karli decided to have a brunch reception, and I can tell you that the food was amazing (the pictures below can provide it!)
This couple truly has such an amazing love story and you could tell how much love their family and friends shared for them during the emotional speeches of the day.
There were also a lot of beautiful moments that were significant for the couple, like the ceremony which include a lot of traditional musical elements, and a choreographed father-daughter dance (that no one else knew about!) I honestly had a blast shooting this wedding, it was fun and so sentimental at the same time.
