Ria + Alex - Wedding
Ria and Alex met at the end of high school and have a ton of history together. They dated for seven years and then got engaged during lockdown.
Their wedding took place at the incredible Four Fathers Brewing venue. This Cambridge brewery converted the building’s loft into the most beautiful wedding venue, and updated their outdoor space to host events as well.
This mid-century, industrial venue was the perfect backdrop for this perfect day! I loved shooting Alex and Ria’s love-filled day here, it was such a nice fall weekend filled with beautiful weather and tons of love.
Alex and Ria were really the most chill bride and groom and that definitely added to the relaxed atmosphere of their wedding day. Ria had initially planned to rent her dress, but the renter before her wrecked the dress…so with one week’s notice, she had to find a replacement.
She ended up finding a dress right off the rack from David’s Bridal - and when you look at the pictures, you could have never guessed. It looked like it was made for her! Ria just went with the flow and wasn’t even phased by what seemed like a big hiccup - instead you could see just how happy she was to be getting married, no matter what wedding dress she was in.
Their ceremony and reception were both so sweet and filled with sooo much love from both of their families. During the ceremony, Alex’s grandpa recited a poem that he wrote for the couple and it was one of the most incredible, beautiful, funny, and emotional things I’ve ever heard at a wedding.
The speeches at the reception were so lovely and you could just tell that they were already such a huge part of each other’s families and were so loved by everyone there.
