Laura + Dan - Cellar 52 Wedding in St. Jacobs
Laura and Dan had such a fun wedding at Cellar 52 in St. Jacobs. This Stella Collective venue is one of my favourites - it is modern, totally gorgeous and is located right in the heart of downtown St. Jacobs. Their catering company, Gilt Catering, is also known for their absolutely delicious menu.
I had such a blast documenting Laura and Dan’s big day. The couple both come from large families and decided to include all of their siblings in the wedding party. Dan’s father was also his best man - how sweet is that?! Laura and Dan were so excited to celebrate with their immediate and extended family, including many family members they had not seen in years. This is one of the reasons why I love doing wedding photography; you get to capture those special, timeless moments between so many loved ones.
The couple had such a sweet first look (and when you check out the gallery, you’ll get to see an absolutely hilarious surprise that was so much fun to capture!) Their ceremony was also so special, with beautiful scripture reading and prayers for the couple from family members.
Capturing the reception was also just so much fun. There were so many touching moments from the speeches (like Dan’s dad holding up a hand-made sign that read “I love my son” and so much laughter. You could really feel just how much this couple was loved by everyone who was there to celebrate their big day.
