Olivia + Dylan - Rustic Lavender Farm Elopement

Olive and Dylan met at 16 while they were both working at a small town Tim Hortons. They talked, hung out a few times and decided to make it “official.” These high school sweethearts spent another seven and a half years together until they got engaged and began planning for the rest of their lives together!

Elopements are so much fun - they often have a relaxed atmosphere and because there is less hustle and bustle on the day of, it gives everyone a chance to take things a bit slower and really soak in every moment of the day. Some people think that elopements only happen at city hall or in a backyard ceremony, but that’s not true. Olive and Dylan had a beautiful ceremony at the gorgeous Lavender Farm, surrounded by fields of (you guessed it!) lavender and wildflowers.

The reception space was located inside the farm’s rustic barn, brought to life with some of the most colourful floral arrangements I’ve ever seen. The couple looked like they had so much fun connecting with their closest friends and family during an intimate dinner.

We also snuck out for some portraits…a few clouds and a bit of rainy drizzle didn’t stop us! If you’re worried about getting rain on your wedding day, I always bring along clear umbrellas - they not only keep you dry, but they look so cute in photos too!
