Nathan + Emma - Wedding
Due to the lockdown in the Spring of 2021, Nathan and Emma found themselves in a challenging situation: they had to cut down on their guest list. Although this could have put a damper on the day, the couple definitely made the best of it and had a beautiful, small and intimate wedding with their wedding party and immediate family
Their ceremony and reception was held at the gorgeous Cellar 52 in St Jacobs, and the perfect June weather allowed them to celebrate the occasion outdoors. I definitely have to mention how awesome the team at Cellar 52 were; they adapted so quickly to all of the changing regulations and made sure the couple had such a special day.
Emma and Nathan have such a sweet story. These two have literally known each other since they were babies - their parents have been friends for decades, so they grew up together and have so much history. It was really amazing hearing the stories told at their wedding about their parents’ friendship over the years and everything the couple has been through together.
The whole wedding was just so much fun, and it ended with an amazing smoke bomb exit. It really did make for an epic ending of such a wonderful day.
Not only did it look fantastic, but because of the lockdown, there were not a lot of typical mingling opportunities you normally see at weddings. So the big exit also ended up being a time when the couple could finally connect with their families and those closest to them.
