Ellen + Tim - Wedding
Ellen and Tim met online and went on their first date in the summer of 2020. After just a few months of dating, they both knew—they were absolutely in love! Many trips, cottage weekends away and amazing dates later, they two moved into an adorable Toronto apartment. While in the UK as Ellen was spending Christmas with her family, Tim surprised her with a proposal.
Their wedding was honestly incredible. The day started with Ellen getting ready at the gorgeous Cruickston Park in Ayr, Ontario. They rented out the entire park,and because Ellen had family visiting from all over the world, including lots of family from the UK, they were all able to stay together in the beautiful countryside. It was so special!
While this location was definitely the perfect place to get ready, everyone’s energy day of also just made the biggest difference. Everyone was so happy and calm, and it was clear that the whole day was just about the people that the couple loved the most. The couple had zero stress and were just so present in the moment, which allowed me to capture some amazing moments.
Their outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Both of Tim’s grandmothers had the opportunity to speak during the ceremony, which was just so, so special. I, unfortunately, was not able to be at their reception as I had a medical emergency and ended up in emergency surgery (that is a whole other story!) One of my amazing associates took over and you can just tell from the rest of the photos how much fun everyone had—the vibe was just so good the whole day through.
