Caitlin + Sam - Beautiful West Coast Wedding
I met Caitlin and Sam in Vancouver last year for their engagement session. When they reached out to me to book their wedding, I was super excited! I loooove the West Coast, so going there for a wedding was just so much fun.
Caitlin and Sam’s wedding took place at the summer camp where they met and both worked in Gibsons, British Columbia. Gibsons is a stunning location. You take a ferry from Vancouver to get there, and I was just in awe of the scenery the entire trip over - and just as amazed when we arrived.
The small town is right on the ocean, it’s a little fishing community and it’s just so beautiful. The couple really wanted to capture this special location in their photos, and I think we definitely did that.
The whole wedding day was super chill, which was the perfect vibe because this couple was super chill too! While their wedding had a relaxed feel, it was also such a special and significant day. Family friends performed the wedding ceremony and had a lot of people who were close to them help host and be part of the whole day.
The couple and their wedding party took a trip to get gelato and it was a really great way for the couple to get the chance to spend some quality time with their wedding party. Plus, I can vouch that the gelato was amazing.
Near the end of the day, we got to take sunset pictures on the same beach where Sam proposed. Caitlin and Sam’s whole wedding was so special and so personal and so perfect for their unique love story.
