Bethany + Anthony - Bright Spring Wedding
Bethany and Anthony got married at the beautiful La Petite Chapelle in Innerkip, Ontario. This gorgeous venue is a historic, 1800s church that has been updated while keeping its original charm and character - truly a perfect wedding day backdrop. Bethany and Anthony also chose Bonsai Creative for their videography, and I love when we can combine photography and videography to document the day.
Anthony asked Bethany to be his girlfriend on June 18th, 2019 - which is why this June date was so important to the couple. Bethany loved bright colours and wanted a real late spring vibe, so the florals and decor were simple but bright and elegant and fun. Their wedding day was super special and centred a lot on their families, their long relationship and the celebration of finally getting to tie the knot and join their two families together.
Bethany also did a first look with her dad, which was super sweet and sentimental. You could see how close the two of them were and how much love he had for his daughter.
Before the ceremony, Bethany’s dad and her bridesmaids prayed with her - after she saw the photos, Bethany told me that she could see in the pictures her demeanour change from that moment on, which was really special for me to hear!
Anthony saw Bethany for the first time when she walked down the aisle, and I absolutely loved being able to capture their reaction to seeing each other for the first time in that moment.
Between the ceremony and the reception, we ran off into the forest to grab some photos (and videos with Bonsai) while their guests enjoyed ice cream popsicles, guacamole and other fantastic foods during the best cocktail ever.
They had their favourite restaurant cater their reception, which was such a nice and personal touch. Their reception was beautiful and it ended off with dancing under the string lights, a perfect way to finish a lovely evening.
