Becca + Shane - Wedding

Becca and Shane had been planning their wedding for years - they actually booked me back in 2019 to shoot their wedding. However, when their wedding date arrived in February 2021, we were in complete lockdown here in Ontario.

So, the couple did what many others did and rescheduled their wedding for April 3rd. And then…on April 1st…the government announced yet another lockdown just weeks after the last ended, which must have felt a bit like a sick joke at this point! But this couple definitely made the best of it.

Wedding ceremonies were still allowed (with some restrictions in place) and their day could not have been more beautiful. Even though their guest list had to be reduced, they were able to have both of their families there. It definitely made for a super intimate and meaningful wedding.

Their wedding took place in Elora, which has SO many gorgeous spots. We were able to check out the new pedestrian bridge and get some great shots while hanging out for the next few hours after the ceremony.

Becca and Shane’s wedding day may not have looked like what they originally planned back in 2019, but it was still a super special and significant day spent with family and their closest friends.
